Takeshi Kaneshiro really is a gorgeous man and he is certainly good in this film which is set in Tokyo's Kubuki-cho area of Shinjuku, the area they tell you not to go to! I thought this film was going to be violent and unpleasant like a heavy duty Yakuza film, but it wasn't and I found I had to really concentrate to keep up with who was double crossing whom, who could be trusted and who was a player in the gangster world. It was worth the effort, but I did have to explain it to someone else who struggled with the rapid twists, that came suddenly.

A good one to put on if you are an insomniac. I managed 10 minutes before switching to the shopping channel!
