Brief synopsis of L Word, The - Complete Second Season

Set in the chic world of Los Angeles, The L Word takes an intimate look at the impassioned lives of a small, close-knit group of lesbians and the friends and family who either support or scorn them. Following on from the hugely popular first season, season two picks up with on-again, off-again lovers Bette Porter and Tina Kennard hitting stormy waters as they try to heal their fractured relationship. As the story progresses, the characters are wracked with new discoveries. Break ups, babies and sexy newcomers add to explosive plot lines. In addition to 13 episodes, The L Word – Season Two is loaded with luscious extras, including cast commentaries and 7 featurettes.

I watched the whole thing on Living. It's great - actually better than the First series. I can't wait for the third series which I believe will be making its way to us in the UK next summer! It's great to at last see a lesbian drama that reflects real life and has created personalities everyone of any sexual orientation can love.

i was bored one evening and flicked around on the tv, and came across living tv, which was showing a steamy sex scene, i was interested and kept watching. to my surprise i kept watching, im a gay man and dont find the sex scenes interesting, but as a viewer of fantastic tv, i was gripped, the acting, the story, the sex, it was just like watching queer as folk with women, how rude. i have now watched all three seasons twice and still find this program fresh and gripping. long may it continue.
