RelatedCritics ReviewsA bittersweet story about teenage prostitution from director Coky Giedroyc that is well-intentioned but ends up being rather voyeuristic. Trainspotting's Kelly Macdonald gives an excellent performance as the feisty young Glaswegian girl working in London for creepy pimp James Bolam, who tries to start a new life with drug addict Hans Matheson. Though AL Kennedy's clichéd script leaves you wishing such a sensitive subject had received a better treatment, the film remains compelling thanks to Macdonald's star turn.
