Filth usually gravitates to the bottom - where it belongs. If you like seedy black comedy then this is for you.We turned it off after approx 30 minutes.I felt like some fresh air,a bath and change of clothes afterwards.

Rated - 4 starsIf you live in Blackpool, Unbelievable!!

This is a very Raunchy series, but a lot of fun and some very good acting by all the cast. Most of the Actors/Actresses play parts which are very different to the type that they usually play, but I found this very good and am sure, that they found the parts very challenging. All in all very good viewing, but maybe not for the narrow- minded or perhaps the people that live in Backpool, they wont believe it!!

This series made great TV viewing, and great to see it again on DVD. Great Characters - unbelievable acting - some laughs - some tongue in cheek giggles. Prepare to be shocked - and entertained right through to the end. Please bring a second series - not sure how you could beat the first though.

Rated - 4 starsWeird, Dark, comedy

Well, it took me a long time to get into this, watching the first couple of episodes and I thought.... this is not for me. But I stuck with it as I was intrigued to see what was happenning. I am actually pleased I did, it grew on me rapidly and I began to enjoy this dark comedy, I was a student in Blackpool for 4 years and really don't recall seeing that side of Blackpool. Just looking forward to the second disk to arrive to answer my many questions.

Rated - 1 starsA silly mess

I would classify Funland as being an aquired taste; you could certainly say it's a piece of cult television. Personally, I didn't like it one bit; much too silly for my liking with silly interwoven plots consisting of characters that were unlikeable to say the least. Very poor.

Funland is one of the best ever tv series ever shown , but it was never given a chance by the schedulers. It has everything, headed by the brilliant Daniel Mayers, this bloke is going to be a star. Do yourself a favour , watch it , its original ,funny ,sad, enjoy it .
