Uninspiring British 70s "Sex" farce

This comes from the period in the 70s when even good actors and actresses were obliged to accept roles in these 'sex' farces to earn a living. This one relies on the rather weak concept that all ladies who are robbed have an uninspiring sex life with a husband who can raise the money for jewels but can't raise anything else. Therefore they willingly let the thief have their way with them and give false testimony about their appearance so that they are not caught. The so-called sex scenes in this unfunny farce consisted of full frontal females posing nude with black thatches to the fore. This was generally followed by an overlong period of two entwined bodies rolling about together. What always shocks one in these farces is the respectable actresses we find stooping to these roles to earn a crust. In this one I was surprised to see Diane Keen, well known from some long running BBC Sunday night serials. This film came from the same stable as 'Au Pair girls' which was a good deal livelier and funnier.
