Rated - 1 starsWhat a misleading trailer!

I know that trailers are supposed to make people want to see the film and are not always an indication of what the film's actually like, but HKL blinded me to the rubbish that is 'The Scorpion King' is. The film bombed in the HK box office and apart from Won Jin's awesome fighting ability this film is lame. Woefully short on fighting, the most entertainment is on a bonus feature showreel of the afore mentioned artist(man, that guy is good). Sure, the scorpion style is worth seeing at least once, but that doesn't make a good movie. Rent for novelty value but I spent most of the time with my player on fast forward!

but it wasn't so endured a thoroughly poor movie, twice, once with subtitles and once using the English language dubbed soundtrack, I suggest you avoid both.

Worth renting to see the awesome kicking displays and seeing Liang in action, the pops has still got it. Give it a try. You might like it.
