Brief synopsis of Ship Of Fools

Vivien Leigh and Simone Signoret headline a stellar cast in the acclaimed drama about German exileswho are not allowed to anchor at American ports. In the high class section are several well-to-do people, while below deck are a horde of sugar field workers returning to Spain after a season of work in Cuba. The ship is a hot bed of disillusionment, prejudice anddelusions of grandeur.

The Period setting is Hitler's rise to power in the thirties. It's rather a long movie at almost two and a half hours, if you don't know the movie then I don't think you will like it, BUT, it has great actors and actresses giving supreme performances.
