pretty good movie, but maybe a bit too flag wavy for some, however this doesnt bother me at all, just dont go looking for a black hawk down rival here & you shouldn,t be too letdown, a worthy title even if its just there to make up the numbers in your rental queue

Good film well-acted concerned with the problem of 'fitting back ' into civilian life after being in an intense and traumatic war situation - no doubt true of all soldiers everywhere in every conflict especially those scarred or wounded both physically and mentally.

I got this movie on the strength that Samuel L Jackson was in it, assuming that if he's in it, maybe it was watchable. My god! I can't recall ever seeing a movie more cringe worthy, badly scripted or cliched as this one.

It's as if the US authorities have decided the the 'folks back at home' don't appreciate what's going on in Iraq and they need to educate their own public

'We're there to fight for the freedom of the American people', to 'save them from Saddam', surely? - 'they used to love us and now they hate us, how can that be'?

Here's an idea - stop shooting up a population like your in a video game and stop pretending that it's not all about money, influence and the spread of capitalism (don't get me wrong, I approve of all of those but please American film makers, tell the truth as it will make for a much better film)
